## Ask where the margin went. Get an answer that cites its source.

Copilot reads your governed commercial records and answers in your own definitions, then shows you the record it read. From a page, it can ask that page to refresh, open a preset, or move you to the record. It never approves, publishes, or changes anything on its own.

**Pocket margin, trailing eight months***Northeast · % of revenue*

Pocket margin fell from 24.6% of revenue in January to 21.8% in August. Supplier cost moved in April, and price did not follow.

- Cost **Cost is 58% of the fall** Freight and material moved in April. Price held flat for the eleven weeks after it.
- Price **Discounting widened once cost moved** Corridor breaches tripled in May, and nine Tier A accounts account for most of them.
- Mix **Mix is the only thing helping** A-tier volume grew, which gave back roughly a third of the cost hit.

**Understand***Analytics · Datasets*
- Why is margin down this quarter?
- Which customers pay least for the same item?
- Did that price increase actually stick?
- Where are we discounting past the floor?
- What changed on this price list last month?

**Decide***Planning · Optimization*
- What can we do about the cost increase?
- If we pass through 3%, what do we lose?
- Which accounts can absorb this and which cannot?
- What should this customer’s floor be?
- What does next quarter look like if we do nothing?

**Execute***Automations · Rulesets*
- Did the agent recover last week’s cost move?
- What is sitting in my approval queue?
- Which items did we skip, and why?
- Did the approved prices reach the ERP?
- Who changed this rule, and when?
